My East Village Portal
My East Village is a community portal for residents of East Village in Stratford, London.
The portal gives them access to all the documents needed for their tenancy, and allows them to make maintenance requests from the property management team. It also provides them with personalised news and offers, as well as a directory of local amenities and a community forum.
News and offers are geotagged so they can be displayed on a map.
Widgets (using public APIs) provide live weather and travel information.
I carried out a thorough audit of existing content and restructured much of it to give the site a clear, logical architecture.
The site includes a directory of local amenities and attractions with results displayed on a map.
When residents first log into the portal they are shown an interactive tour of their new home.
